Andrew John Hurley (born May 31, 1980 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is most notably the drummer of the Chicago-based pop punk band Fall Out Boy.
Personal life
After the death of his father when he was five, Andy was raised by his mother, a nurse
Hurley considered himself to be a trouble maker who drank and did not listen to authority. He became straight edge in his teen years and leads that lifestyle to this day. According to the February issue of Rolling Stone, Andy is so strict about being straight edge, that he pulls the collar of his shirt up over his mouth and nose when band mate Joe Trohman smokes.
Hurley is a vegan, and he has done an interview with PETA

Fall Out Boy is the fourth band Andy has been in with Pete Wentz.Hurley was also in Racetraitor, killtheslavemaster, Project Rocket, and The Kill Pill.
Andy went on to attend University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and tried for a dublu major in anthropology and history. It is not known that he graduated.
Hurley has somewhat extreme views on politics, and believes that someday civilization will collapse.
